Since we returned a few months ago from our trip, the feedback we've heard from the blog has been amazing! I love to hear about the people we've inspired to try paragliding, and those that are now traveling to the Alps and Germany. It was an incredible lifetime experience. Sunday afternoon Vivian (our youngest) had a friend over and was showing her some photos from our trip. When her friend saw the pictures of the paragliding, and Vivian proudly said "That's me!" (the one of the girls in the air next to the Matterhorn, Vivian is up higher), her friend said, "I could never do that, weren't you scared?" She said, "Not really, I don't know why. When we started walking (with the guide and the parachute) I was kinda nervous, but then he picked me up and I was flying, and I said "WEEEEEE" and it was so fun!" then she turned to me and said, "I hope we get to do it again some day!" And I know exactly what she meant, when we first saw the people flying in the air as we pulled into town and Matt said he wanted to do that - I said "No way!" Then we met the pilots, and got up there - and we were all just excited and anxious to get in the air - they made it so easy!

Now, looking back, I think WOW, I can't believe we did that! And WOW, I'm so GLAD we did that! Not only was it incredible and beautiful and amazing, but WOW, look what is possible - We were flying! If we can fly, we can do ANYTHING! I just hope the girls ALWAYS believe that! (And I should say that I also always remember that!)
